Delete account

You can delete your GetDogWalkers server account at any time. Deleting the account removes your business and all data stored on our server: clients, dogs, appointments, walks with routes, invoices, portal and signature links, payment links and the activity log. The data on your device stays until you delete the app.

In the app (immediately)

1. Open the app and tap More at the bottom.
2. Open Server account & client portal.
3. Choose Delete account and confirm with your password.

This works the same in the iPhone and the Android app. Deletion is immediate; daily backups are overwritten after 14 days at the latest.

Without the app

If you no longer have access to the app, write to us via the contact form with the subject “Delete account” and your account's email address. We confirm the request to that address and delete the account within 30 days.

Cancel your subscription

Deleting the account does not end a running subscription. Cancel it separately: on iPhone under Settings → your name → Subscriptions, on Android in the Play Store under Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

What we have to keep

Statutory retention duties only cover records between you and us, such as your subscription. Invoices you write to your clients in the app are yours to keep; they remain on your device. More in our privacy policy.
